The movie, Jenifa, was an instant hit as it not only recorded massive earnings but catapaulted the lead actress, Funke Akindele-Oloyede, to new heights and the trilogy, The Return Of Jenifa (TROJ), was also a commercial success as it paraded a star studded cast including cameos by music stars eLDee, BankyW, Sasha P, Naeto C, Wizkid and Omawumi.
And just when we thought the very popular character of Jenifa ended with that sequel, the producer and actress of the Jenifa role has revealed that a Jenifa movie is in the offing and will soon hit the market/cinemas and it will be about the trip of Jenifa to Jamaica and New York.
Jenifa, a movie that portrays the life of a semi-literate girl from the village and follows her life from there to the city where she starts to live a false life and engages in immoral acts to maintain a flashy lifestyle. The fourth sequel which focus on Jenifa’s international exploit.
According to her, the movie was shot in Caribbean Island of Jamaica and New York.
