Most of our Nollywood Colleagues Need Training – actress Stephanie Okereke

Popular Nollywood actress, Stephanie Okereke , has urged her colleagues to rise up to new standards of professional acting and be the best among equals in their output for the overall benefit of the industry.
Stephanie related that stakeholders need not lag behind now that Nollywood had became a household name in the world and urged her colleagues to utilize any opportunity of retraining themselves to bring out the expertise in them.



She said that officials of the New York Film Academy will be making a working visit to Nigeria and possibly other West African countres, and urged colleagues to make use of the opportunity. “Most of our colleagues need training, especially in film making. We need to be trained in lightings and props to bring out quality films and story lines. We will be able to tell African story properly through good quality pictures,” she said.

Nollywood actors, she intimated are very creative but needed for the creativity to be developed to raise the bar even higher.
