The fourth in line to the throne had looked on in shock as his bodyguards treated the unconscious driver – who needed to be cut free of the wreckage by firemen – and law enforcement rider, catapulted 30ft down the road. The prince's Range Rover was taking him to an Invictus Games event in north London when the accident occurred. The rider from the Special Escort Group was discharged from hospital, whilst the driver was reported to be in a ‘stable'condition.
