Some of Nigeria’s music stars including Tuface, Iyanya, D’banj, Tiwa Savage, Davido, and Wizkid bagged nominations in various categories at the 2014 World Music Awards.

With the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry, IFPI, providing the organizers with the names of the best-selling artists from all major territories, the World Music Awards, which is regarded as the best music awards because of its transparency, will honour the best-selling recording artists from every continent.
The World Music Awards are based on sales merit and voted by the public on the Internet as there is no jury involved.

2face, Snoop Lion, D'banj, others Set South Africa Blazing for MTV Africa All Stars Concert on May 18th

After hitting major cities in Nairobi, Kenya and Lagos, Nigeria with performances from international superstars like Professor as well as top Nigerian acts, 2Face Idibia, IcePrince Zamani and Davido, the MTV Africa All Stars concert has finally reached a fevered pitch. MTV Africa in association with KwaZulu-Natal Province will host the final MTV Africa All Stars concert at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, People’s Park in Durban, South Africa on 18th May 2013 and will have some of the biggest names in the local and international music scene headlined by Rap icon, Snoop Lion, formerly known as Snoop Dogg.

US rapper 2Chainz coming to Lagos June 23 for D'banj's concert

US rapper, 2Chainz, will be in Lagos on June 23rd to perform at D’Kings Men Concert which coincides with D’Banj’s birthday celebration. The concert will take place at Eko Hotel and will also feature D'banj, J-Sol, Kay Switch, Fally Ipupa and Olamide. Watch the video for more details...

D'banj to perform live at the closing ceremony of AFCON 2013

D'banj will perform live at the closing ceremony of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations which will hold this Sunday February 10th. He will perform two songs; Oliver Twist and Top of the World. His brother K-Switch and DB records artist, J Sol will join him on stage. Of course other South African artists will also perform at the closing ceremony. Good stuff!
