"My father died when I was 9.
My single mother did all she can
to raise me alone but my uncle
hated us and did all he could to make
us suffer, after he claimed the
only land my late father had.
After university, he called me and
asked me to join his drug business
but I refused.
God had started blessing me, I had a
job with an oil company and soon got
a house in Abuja where I and my
mother moved into.
After so many years of tears, my mother
could be happy again.
One day, my uncle called me that
he was in Abuja for business and
needed to urgently pass the night in
my house, I didn't like the idea cos
he was a drug baron but I had no choice,
I asked him to come over.
As early as 5am, my uncle left my
house and traveled back.
When I returned from work
that evening, my compound had been
filled with police men
and my mom was weeping.
They c24eharged me
for cocaine and they found a gun
in the room which they claimed was
used to kill someone the previous
night and the gun was found in
the room where I allowed my uncle sleep.
Now, the court has sentenced me
to 22yrs in jail for a crime I don't
know about and I might even be sentenced
to death after further
investigations which has nothing
to do with me,
all thanks to my uncle.
I am writing this with tears and
I included a pic of
my mother and myself,
Please, pray for me so that I won't
be further sentence to death and that
God should console my mother.
I have been hearing that your prayer works,
that's why I wrote this.
From your big fan, Benjamin Okorie".
OMG!!! I cried after reading this story.
Such an innocent, handsome young
man with a bright future, rot away in jail? OH
NO!!!
May Eledumare/God take over Benjamin's case and set
him free for the sake of his single mother,
Amen.
If you have read this, please don't fail to write
"ASE,AMIN,AMEN,AMEENAH".
