£75m Suarez, €40m Sanchez Deal Is Done, Liverpool/Man City Chase Onazi


Former Liverpool forward 27-year-old Luis Suarez is now an FC Barcelona player. Liverpool FC confirms that the Uruguay forward, the "Vampire" will travel to Barcelona to complete a medical after the two clubs agreed a fee of £75m. Suárez has signed a five-year contract.

The 27-year-old is currently serving a four-month ban – which runs until October 26 – for biting Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini while playing for Uruguay in his nation’s final World Cup group stage match.
Under the terms of the suspension, Suarez is not allowed to train with his club or enter the confines of any stadium during his ban.
Suarez had scored 31 goals for Liverpool last season winning the golden boot. 
Arsenal have confirmed the signing of Chilean Superstar Alexis Sanchez from from Catalan giants Barcelona in what Goal understands is a €40 million [£32m] deal.


After scoring two goals at the World Cup in Brazil and impressing in his three seasons at Camp Nou, where he scored 39 times in 88 appearances, the Gunners have beaten off competition from Liverpool and Juventus to land the forward. Sanchez has played for Chile 71 times, scoring 24 goals.
“I’m so happy to be joining Arsenal, a club which has a great manager, a fantastic squad of players, huge support around the world and a great stadium in London,” Alexis told the club’s official website.
“I’m looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and to be playing for Arsenal in the Premier League and Champions League. I will give my best to Arsenal and want to make all the supporters happy.”


-Nigeria World Cup star Ogenyi Onazi’s has his future in the English Premier League as his representatives have opened talks with both Liverpool and Manchester City.
Sources close to the Super Eagles midfield star revealed that the highly-rated Nigerian youngster Onazi will not extend his contract with Serie A side Lazio when it runs out next summer.
“Onazi’s future is in the EPL with either Liverpool or Manchester City. His agents are working on this,” one of the sources informed.

-They have been chasing him for months, and now Chelsea have apparently got their man from Atlético Madrid after finally agreeing to sign Diego Costa for the triggered amount of £32.5million.


Costa has also accepted personal terms on a five-year contract, with the move set to be formally announced at the end of the season.
According to reports in Spain, Chelsea have wrapped up the transfer after agreeing to meet the striker’s £32million buyout clause. Costa will reportedly pocket about £200,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge.
The Spain marksman scored more goals than all of Chelsea’s strikers put together last season - 36 goals. Former Arsenal striker Cesc Fabregas at Stamford Bridge. Fabregas joined last month in a £27million deal from Barcelona.
