Cote d’ Ivoire left it late to snatch a goal that gave them victory (1-0) over Nigeria and leap-frog their opponents on the standings in Group B of the CAF U-17 Championship. The encounter played in Marrakech was heading for a goalless draw just about due deserves for both sides, when Dogbole Niangbo profited from a defensive mistake to score in the 90thminute. The events that led to the goal saw a Nigeria defender fail to stay on his feet while chasing a clearance and as he fell the Ivorian player quickly sent a long ball into the box which the keeper Adeyinka Adewale did not deal with and as the Nigerians tried to stop Kouassi Begbin scoring he squared for Niangbo to slot home

The late Nollywood icon, Justus Esiri might have lived by the axiom that a good name is better than silver and gold.
A performer will often take a stage name because his/her real name is considered unattractive, dull, unintentionally amusing or difficult to pronounce or spell, or because it has been used by another notable individual or because it projects an undesired image. Sometimes a performer adopts a name that is unusual or outlandish to attract attention.

I sat in my bedroom the whole of Sunday 2 December feeling very funny and low. After asking myself what the trigger was, I remembered that I always get like that a day to the 3 December every year for the past eight years. I had the opportunity and rare privilege of being the wife and partner of the most wonderful, loving, industrious, God-fearing and kind man. Life could not have been better than that because I was living every woman’s dream.
