Funny things we Nigerians (Do you agree?)

We love arriving late to an occasion
just because we feel others would
arrive late too - AFRICAN TIME. We flash with private number. We are very loud especially when we
are talking on the mobile phone. We wear sun glasses at night. We run in the rain even though we
are already wet. We answer questions with questions. We always use 'o' at the end of
everything. We call every elderly family friend
uncle or aunty. Some of us will go to South Africa
for one week and come back with

JOKE: Nigerians Naturally love free things

An American priest walked into a barber shop in Washington, D.C.

After he got his haircut, he asked how much it would be.

The barber replied; No charge. I consider it a service to the Lord.

The next morning, the barber came to work and there were 12 prayer books and a thank you note from the priest in front of the door.

When Kim Kardashian Came to Lagos and Scam Nigerians

Eko Hotel, Victoria Island: the scene of so many expensive misdemeanours in the past, did its best not to disappoint. Kim Kardashian (pictured sailing into the salubrious Murtala Muhammed International Airport) was billed to “co-host” an event with R’n'B crooner Darey Art-Alade in honour of “Love..Like a Movie”. In other words, it was a “Vals” thing. Lagos being familiar to the metallurgy of snobbery, this involved platinum ticket holders being invited to an exclusive pre-dinner event with her K-ness. Pseudo-ogas lower down the corporate food chain only got to see the show.
I was just over a thousand miles away from the action in Freetown, watching my Twitter timeline cascade with commentary as the evening unfolded. Tweets purred with pleasure at the acrobatics segment, and at the godly qualities of Waje’s voice. There was a sense that in production values and packaging, Lagos had outblinged itself.

Nigerians to Eagles: Give us this day

After 19 years of waiting for another continental title and thirteen years since appearing in the final, the Super Eagles of Nigeria are on the threshold of history as they face the Stallions of Burkina Faso in the final of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations in Johannesburg  today. And Nigerians are highly expectant.
For Coach Stephen Keshi, the day represents a turning point in his romance with the round leather game. In 1994, he won the trophy as captain of the Nigerian team, the last time Nigeria lifted the cup. If he leads the Super Eagles to win the trophy today, he then becomes only the second man to have won the tournament as player and coach after Egyptian legend, late Mahmoud El Gohary.

Charly Boy’s New Year Message To Nigerians

Vintage Charly Boy shooting from the hips. Read message below…
“In quiet moments like this, nothing runs through my mind than remembering all my haters, foes, enemies, friends, and those dear to me. It’s New Year. Another time to make resolutions and aspire to acquire the desire we admire even if we mis-fired last year, we have this year to re-fire. “But can I candidly wish you a happy and prosperous New Year when our national patrimony has been cornered by thieves, gangsters, fraudsters in stacked robes!
