Ivory Coast beat Japan at FIFA World Cup
Team Cote d'Ivoire has defeated Team Japan at the stadium in Recife in the first round match of the group stage of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The match ended with the score 2:1 (0:1). After the goal by Japanese midfielder Keisuke Honda on the 16th minute, the Ivorian replied with well-placed shots by Wilfried Bony (64th minute) and Gervinho (66th minute).

Brazil defeats Croatia in 2014 FIFA World Cup opener - Highlights
Croatia saw an unlikely lead when the hosts’ defender Marcelo scored an own goal in the 11th minute. But the situation improved for Brazil soon with Neymar firing home two goals: one in the 29th minute and a penalty kick in the 71st minute. Oscar scored a third one for Brazil in the 90th minute.
Brazil will play Mexico on June 17 and Croatia will play Cameroon on June 18 in Group A.
