Kanu committed to Greensprings Football Camp

Former Super Eagles captain Nwankwo Kanu has reaffirmed his commitment to the annual Greensprings Kanu Football Camp.
The former Portsmouth forward told the Greensprings School management that he was impressed with the organisation of the first edition, which attracted a large number of pupils from private and public schools from within and outside Lagos State.
“I’m really impressed with the first edition, which brought together more than 300 students in the country. This is what the country needs at this point and I will continue to support and identify with the initiative that will groom football stars for the country,” Kanu said.

Kanu added that this year’s edition will feature top Dutch coaches to work with the other coaches expected at the camp.
“Part of my contribution to the camp this year is to bring in Dutch coaches that will work with their British counterparts during the one-week clinic. Also this year will witness a detailed programme that I believe will impart very well on the participants,” he said.
