Funke Akindele and Denrele to host Miss Abuja 2013
Miss Abuja 2013, a brain child of W-studio in collaboration with Emirate Models, is set to start soon.
The event, according to the organisers, will be one of its kind to hit Abuja with celebrities to make the show memorable and worthwhile. CEO of Emirate Models, John Carson, said, “This is a show that whosoever is worth it wins it. It’s a show that will be free and fair; no favouritism. We are looking forward to using Funke Akindele and Denrele Edun as the hosts. It is going to be a show that Abuja has never witnessed before. We are looking forward to making it the best beauty pageant ever in the city and beyond.”
CEO of W-Studio, Wale Adeyeye, who was one of the organisers of popular Face of Sofa Beauty Pageant hinted that the Miss Abuja 2013 will even surpass the Face of Sofa.
The grand finale will be coming up first week of June 2013

Funke Akindele headlines Gbenga Adeyinka’s comedy show in Ibadan
Livng legend, King Sunny Ade has openly endorsed the hosting of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCOn and friends in Ibadan come March 31, 2013.
The Juju maestro and the comedian and actor, who were together in Ibadan recently, couldn’t hide their feelings as they talked and discussed about the show.
Meanwhile, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCON, has opened up on why Funke Akindele is headlining his show in Ibadan this year.

A-list actresses Uche Jombo, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw and Funke Akindele have been in Tinapa, Cross Rivers state for the past two weeks. The actresses have been posting photos of their time there on their respective Instagram pages but have never said what they are actually doing there. I got the exclusive scoop for you...:-). The four actresses are in Tinapa for a project which is a part reality show and part movie that EbonyLife TV, owned by TV host Mo Abudu, is putting together. The reality show/movie is being shot at Tinapa resort. Funke Akindele makes another JENIFA, titles it..
The movie, Jenifa, was an instant hit as it not only recorded massive earnings but catapaulted the lead actress, Funke Akindele-Oloyede, to new heights and the trilogy, The Return Of Jenifa (TROJ), was also a commercial success as it paraded a star studded cast including cameos by music stars eLDee, BankyW, Sasha P, Naeto C, Wizkid and Omawumi.
