Industry Nite with DJ Jimmy Jatt went down on Wednesday 22nd January 2014 was held at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos. The event was hosted by on air personality Jimmie Akinsola. Stars spotted at the event include D’banj, Iyanya, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Tunde Ednut, Sound Sultan, Tee Billz, and Adams Ibrahim. Performers at the event include Emma Nyra, Tekno and Jaywon.

GLO-CAF Awards: P-Square, D’Banj,Lagbaja To Perform Tonight

Tonight's GLO CAF Awards in Lagos promises to be a bumper entertainment show as top African music stars like D' banj, Lagbaja and P-Square, are to thrill fans and guests who will grace the high-profile event at the Expo Centre of the Eko Hotels on the Island.

Organisers said yesterday that these celebrated acts will set the tone for the mother of all shows that essentially celebrates African football stars who shone in the football sphere in the year just gone by.

D’banj, Banky W, Davido Ignore Channel O Awards for paid shows in Lagos

The 2013 Channel O Music Video Awards held on November 30, 2013 at Walter Sisulu Square, in Kliptown, Soweto. Three prominent nominees were however missing from the awards show.

Nigerian A-list acts D’banj, Banky W and Davido stayed back in Nigeria to perform at the Johnnie Walker event which went down on the same night at Oriental Hotel, Lekki, Lagos.

D’banj and Davido lost out at the awards. Banky W however clinched the ‘Most Gifted RnB Video‘ category. His award was picked up by Wizkid.

Banky and D’banj travelled out of the country a day after the show; The EME boss is currently in Johannesburg while D’banj is in London.

D’Banj gets four nominations at the 2012 World Music Awards

D'banj has been nominated in four categories at the 2012 World Music Awards, the highest nomination by any Nigerian artiste. The categories are: Best African Act - (Oliver Twist). Best Music Video - (Oliver Twist). Best Song of the Year- (Oliver Twist). Best World Artist - (Oliver Twist) D''banj will also perform at the Awards which will hold December 20th in Miami, Florida.
