Funke Akindele headlines Gbenga Adeyinka’s comedy show in Ibadan

Livng legend, King Sunny Ade has openly endorsed the hosting of Laffmattazz with Gbenga Adeyinka 1^st GCOn and friends in Ibadan come March 31, 2013.

The Juju maestro and the comedian and actor, who were together in Ibadan recently, couldn’t hide their feelings as they talked and discussed about the show.

Meanwhile, Gbenga Adeyinka 1st GCON, has opened up on why Funke Akindele is headlining his show in Ibadan this year.

Her reality show is titled My Xperience and according to the producers, the show will portray her every day work, plans, and all the stress that comes with her success. The show will premiere next week on syndicate local channels STV, TVC and AIT

Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel joins the Tinsel Show

Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel has joined the cast of the MNET-produced TV series, Tinsel.

TON gathered that the AMAA-winning actor has completed the filming of his scenes which will begin to appear on the soap starting from Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Speaking about his decision to take the role, Michel said, ‘A long time ago, I realized that my acting is not only about myself, it’s an extension of many things that I hope for in our industry. So I made up my mind to extend myself to film projects that improve our movie making prospects within the continent. I believe that this can also inspire young actors coming behind me. TINSEL is a typical reflection of that, after all, its’ one of the most successful soaps out of Nigeria’.

Michel started his acting career on the TV series Things We Do For Love.

The trio started with "Bootylicious" and worked through "Independent Woman" before collaborating on "Single Ladies,". Kelly and Michelle then left the stage, leaving Beyonce to perform "Halo" solo. Until the grand finale of Destiny Child Gospel reality TV show, 30 year-old Israel Osunsanmi had never met his father who sent his mother packing while she was two months pregnant with him. But on the day he was crowned winner of the reality show, Israel met his father for the first time ever while on stage.

Israel, an OND Business Administration graduate of the Osun State Polytechnic told showtime he has since forgiven his father, though his mother’s ordeal really affected his growing up. “I have forgiven him and the relationship is gradually picking up,” he said.
