Mimi got a surprise marriage proposal from Charles while vacationing on Zanzibar Island in 2013. When contacted about the secret wedding, Mimi said ‘we haven’t done it neither have we had our wedding secretly though we acted a couple in a new movie.’

Give him a break, he's 75...:-). The actor was caught sleeping on live TV during an interview with Fox News promoting his latest movie 'Now You See Me' with fellow actor Michael Caine, 80.

Michael Caine was answering a question when Morgan Freeman fell into a deep sleep...but woke up moments later and fully joined the early morning interview. 

After the video went viral, Morgan released a statement to E! News saying:

I wasn’t actually sleeping, I’m a beta tester for Google Eyelids. I was merely updating my Facebook page.

LMAO! Nice comeback! He was actually sleeping, the statement is just a play off of Google Glass, a device which is supposed to allow users to update their social networks through a pair of glasses and access the internet through voice commands.

It looked like soft porn to us, with all the nudity, kissing, breast grabbing, etc but Collins Onwochei has defended his role in the movie saying Room 027 is not soft porn. Oh yeah? Nollywood actor and producer, Collins Ifeanyi Chukwu, dies in Abuja hospital

In what has become like an evil wind blowing across the entertainment industry in Nigeria and just as Nigerians are yet to come to terms with the death of Goldie, popular Abuja based actor, director and producer, Collins Ifeanyi Chukwu is dead.

The artiste died yesterday at the Maitama General Hospital after a brief illness. He is survived by his young wife, Blessing Collins, and little son, Doxa Efechukwu Collins.

The news, which was confirmed yesterday by the chairman of the guild in Abuja, Agility Onwurah, has thrown the Abuja chapter of AGN into mourning. The usually boisterous Access Garden, which is the official location of the guild’s activities, was full of tears and wailings yesterday.

Ghanaian actor, Majid Michel has joined the cast of the MNET-produced TV series, Tinsel.

TON gathered that the AMAA-winning actor has completed the filming of his scenes which will begin to appear on the soap starting from Tuesday, February 19, 2013. Speaking about his decision to take the role, Michel said, ‘A long time ago, I realized that my acting is not only about myself, it’s an extension of many things that I hope for in our industry. Actor Enebeli Elebuwa getting better in Indian hospital

The veteran actor who was stricken by stroke late last year, is currently in India receiving treatment. He was flown to India a few weeks back by the Delta State Government through its Commissioner of Culture, Richard Mofe Damijo. Elebuwa said recently via a telephone interview with a reporter that he's getting better and is now able to stand unaided for a few minutes for the first time since the illness started late last year.

Nollywood actor Osita Iheme a.k.a Paw Paw is currently in South Africa to finalise an endorsement deal worth N11.2 million with South African entertainment tv station; VUZU TV.

Osita was appointed the face of VUZU TV, a youth-oriented entertainment channel after signing a 6 month contract worth $70, 000 (N11.2 million).
The commercial shoot has Pawpaw and two ladies in a bathtub unclothed.

Meanwhile Pawpaw and on-screen partner, Chinedu Ikedieze a.k.a Aki have launched a movie production company, Aki and Pawpaw Entertainment Nigeria (APEN).
