Louis van Gaal says he has other ways to set Manchester United up against opponent but wants to stick with the 3-5-2 formation yet.

The Dutch boss has said his team will continue lining up in his preferred 3-5-2 formation when they face Italian club Inter Milan in their third friendly match of the International Champions Cup later today and Real Madrid on Saturday.

Van Gaal has deployed the same formation in both of the club’s pre-season wins over La Galaxy and Roma, while ensuring he employ every member of his new squad just as he did at the World Cup in Brazil with the Netherlands.

Jordan Ayew has left Olympique des Maresille to join fellow French League club Lorient on a four-year deal.

The 22-year-old was loaned to Socchaux in January after fallen down the pecking order at Marseille.
“The style and quality of play that is proposed here is perfect for me,” said Ayew, who scored 5 times for Socchaux in 17 Ligue 1 matches.

“It is impossible to work like this,” Nurlan Sadikov, coach of the nation’s under-19 team, told Tengrin News in a quote translated by the Daily Mail. “The crowd behaves like there isonly one player at the championship.”

Juventus Boss Says Vidal Won’t Be Sold

Juventus CEO Guiseppe Marotta is adamant that Arturo Vidal will not be sold as long as the Chilean is happy in Turin.

The 27-year-old has been one of Manchester United’s top targets this summer, with a €54 million bid being prepared, and Goalunderstands that Vidal met with his agent and senior officials on Sunday evening to discuss the possibility of a transfer to Old Trafford.

Everton have signed Bosnia-Hercegovina midfielder Muhamed Besic from Hungarian club Ferencvaros for an undisclosed fee.
Besic, 21, played in all of Bosnia matches at the World Cup in Brazil, as the debutantes lost out in the group stages.  The ex-Stuttgart playmaker is Everton’s second signing of the summer following the arrival of Gareth Barry from Manchester City after the latter’s successful loan spell.

Manchester United right full-back Rafael Da Silva has returned ahead of the rest of the squad back to England to start treatment on a groin injury.

Rafael, 24, sustained the injury during training on Friday ahead of the 3-2 win over AS Roma a day later in Denver.
The club have deemed the Brazilian’s chance to continue in the Tour of the United States unlikely and says the “best option” is to return to its Aon training facility.

Liverpool’s move for Queens Park Rangers’ striker Loic Remy has collapsed, as a result of an undisclosed reason.

The ‘Reds’ are yet to comment on the reasons behind their rethink but it is understood there has been some niggles with the France international’s medical.  Remy, 27, flew to the United States, where Liverpool are presently honouring their pre-season tour, last Monday.
The Merseyside club were believed to have activated the £8.5m release clause in Remy’s contract.
The Frenchman, who was part of the France squad that reached the quarter-finals of the 2014 World Cup, waited all through last week for the final confirmation of the deal.
