Why Mba’s deal fell through – Wolves

Nigeria international Sunday Mba did not sign with French second division side CA Bastia because they offered him a “slave deal”.
Top Warri Wolves officials told MTNFootball.com that they were forced to pull the plug on Mba’s move to Europe at the last minute after they went through a contract that they claimed was not favourable to the player.

But those behind the Bastia deal have also countered quickly, saying Wolves officials were all about the cash they will make and not the player’s career.

Chelsea seal deal for Samuel Eto'o as Jose #Mourinho decides to wait for Manchester United's Wayne #Rooney.  Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Samuel Eto’o as part of the negotiations to acquire Willian for £30 million from Anzhi Makhachkala which will end their attempts to buy Wayne Rooney this summer.
The fee for Eto’o, the highest-paid player at the Russian club, is thought to be around £2 million.

₦5.4bn broadcast deal for Nigerian league

The League Management Company and SuperSport have agreed a four-year broadcast sponsorship deal with a cumulative worth of $34m (about 5.4b) for the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The deal, which was announced at a joint press briefing in Abuja, will commence from the 2015 season, though it was learnt that the deal had been structured to take care of developmental imperatives of the league beginning from this season.

This latest development brings to an end several crisis involving the LMC and Total Promotions over broadcast rights of the Nigerian league.

Walcott Puts Pen To Paper On New Arsenal Deal


Arsenal fans can now heave a sigh of relief as indications emerged that unsettled forward, Theo Walcott, has put pen to paper on a new Arsenal contract after months of negotiations with the England international’s agents.Walcott, 23, who initially rejected what was described as a “final offer” worth £75,000 a week in August, has now agreed a new contract with the north London club worth £100,000 a week and is understood to be for three and a half years.

Pint-Sized Actor, Pawpaw Lands N11m South African Deal



As the face of South African VUZU TV, a youth-oriented entertainment channel
Nollywood actor Osita Iheme a.k.a Paw Paw is currently in South Africa to finalise an endorsement deal worth N11.2 million with South African entertainment tv station; VUZU TV.

Osita was appointed the face of VUZU TV, a youth-oriented entertainment channel after signing a 6 month contract worth $70, 000 (N11.2 million).
The commercial shoot has Pawpaw and two ladies in a bathtub unclothed.

Meanwhile Pawpaw and on-screen partner, Chinedu Ikedieze a.k.a Aki have launched a movie production company, Aki and Pawpaw Entertainment Nigeria (APEN).
The internationally recognized actors set up the production company to support interested actors especially up and coming actors avoid the challenges of movie producers in the industry.
