Omawumi, Waje, MI, Flavor, others shine in new Glo TV commercial
Globacom’s new musical video featuring the nine newly signed Ambassadors, Flavour, MI, Omawumi, Waje, Lynxxx, Bez, Naeto C, Chee the Voice and Burna Boy has now gone viral and is generating unprecedented interest among youths in the country. Titled “Move to Greener Pastures”, the TV commercial is trending on social media with over fifty thousand hits within two days of its release on Glo’s online media portals and on YouTube.

Nigerian Idol 3 finale; Femi Kuti, D'Banj, Omawumi, all hail Moses
Moses Obi-Adigwe has become the first male contestant to emerge winner of the third season of Nigeria's most-viewed TV reality show, the Nigerian Idol! The 22-year-old could not contain his joy as he stuttered over and over again, "This is a new beginning in my career and life... you don't understand!"
Like in previous seasons, Etisalat Nigeria delivered, as promised, a brand new SUV and a 7.5-million-naira cheque to the new Idol, who will also get a recording contract worth another N7.5 million. First Runner-up, Debbie Rise drove home in a brand new Kia Picanto, also courtesy Etisalat Nigeria.

Omawumi To Release 2nd Album On April 7
Popular Nigerian singer Omawumi Megbele will be releasing her second album next month – three years after her debut album ‘Wonder Woman‘.
In an exclusive interview with NET, the singer-performer revealed the name of the album as ‘Lasso of Truth‘.
‘My album will be out in a matter of weeks and it will be titled, Lasso of Truth and before you ask what it means. My last album was titled Wonder Woman and in the story about her, she has a lasso with which she whips and forces victims to tell the truth‘, she disclosed.
