Manchester United Fans Contribute Money To Buy Back Ronaldo
After a weekend of goodbyes to iconic figures Sir Alex Ferguson and Paul Scholes, Manchester United fans might be saying hello again to Cristiano Ronaldo - if they themselves can find the money.
A small band of Australian-based United supporters have created a website where fans can help raise funds to bring back their old favourite, who has a £100million buyout clause, from Real Madrid.
The 'BringRonaldoHome' movement has already received thousands of pledges to buy a United shirt with Ronaldo on it - however it needs 10 million to donate a tenner for this target to be reached.

“Ronaldo Unlucky To Be Born In The Same Era With Messi” – Wenger
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has suggested Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is ‘from a different planet’ as he assesses his sublime talents, but does not believe he was a worthy winner of the 2012 FIFA World Player of the Year prize.
Wenger felt the full force of Messi’s genius when the Barcelona maestro blasted four goals past Arsenal in a Champions League quarter-final back in 2010, but he is convinced there were more worthy winners of the prize in a year when Barcelona failed to live up to their own extraordinary standards.

The moment Guardiola snubbed Ronaldo at Ballon D’Or 2012 [WATCH]
Luis Suarez and Patrice Evra, John Terry and Anton Ferdinand, Samir Nasri and William Gallas, Terry (again) and Wayne Bridge, and now Pep Guardiola and Cristiano Ronaldo. The snubbed handshake is fast becoming football’s equivalent of unfriending someone on Facebook. But while previous examples have had their origins in personal slights, it seems the latest entry to the list has its origins in good old fashioned club rivalry.

Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed that it is almost impossible to please everyone, as even God cannot satisy us all. The Portuguese forward has sometimes been made target of hostile receptions from fans of opposing teams, but he has insisted he is not going to change, as he has no problems with his personality. “Not even God can please everyone. I always try to be a good person who the majority of people like. But showing too much humility is a flaw. People either hate me or love me,” the attacker told Globo. “I always try and work hard in order to be the best at what I do. In my opinion, everybody should have the objective to be the best at what they do, regardless of his or her profession.”
