Photos From Ice Prince Welcome Party
After winning the BET awards, Ice Prince toured the U.S and Canada before returning to Nigeria on Wednesday July 24th. The Choc City Crew, friends and press were at the Muritala Muhammed International Airport to give him a surprise welcome. Later that day, Ice Prince was surprised for a second time with a welcome party by M.I at his new Lekki residence. The rap superstar was received by Chocolate city acts Victoria Kimani and DJ Caise, his music colleagues, Seyi Shay, Ezi Emela, Sam Walsh, Choc City management and a couple of friends.

She did the red carpet for several minutes, joined us at the pre-dinner event for like 10/15 minutes, did the photo-up with guests for a few minutes, then appeared on stage at the beginning of the show for like 20 seconds. That was it! Hope they didn't pay her more that N2, 000...lol. I was so annoyed.

AFCON list: Don’t expect miracles from Eagles – Taribo
Former Super Eagles players have expressed different opinions on the national team’s 23-man list released by coach Stephen Keshi on Wednesday for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to begin on January 19. Nigeria-Ghana 2000 Eagles defender, Taribo West, believes Keshi picked the best players at his disposal but has his reservation on the inclusion of Italy-based midfielder, Obiora Nwankwo.

Football Player Sacked From Team For Racist Slur Against Obama
How dare you insult the POUS on social media, especially when he’s mourning?
A North Alabama football player recently lost his place in the team, and probably his career, no thanks to his explicit message. During President Barack Obama’s address on the Newtown, Connecticut shooting on Sunday night, North Alabama player Bradley Patterson sent out a racist tweet directed towards him.
“Take that [expletive] off the tv, we wanna watch football!” Patterson, whose account has since been deleted, tweeted.

Photos from Friends Africa Dec 1 World AIDS Day novelty match
The World AIDS Day ‘Play for Life’ Novelty Football Match in partnership with Friends Africa’s Goodwill Ambassador, Mr Emmanuel Babayaro (MON) took place on December 1, 2012 at the Campos Mini Stadium Lagos Island from 3pm until 6pm. This formed a part of Friends Africa’s activities to commemorate the 2012 World AIDS Day. The novelty match was played between a team of ex-football stars (Team Eagles) and a team of celebrities in the music and movie industry in Nigeria (Team Entertainers). People living with HIV were match officials, coaches, supporters and special guests. In attendance was former president of Nigeria H.E. Gen. Yakubu Gowon, who shook hands with all the players just before kick-off. Team Eagles won Team Entertainers 8 goals to 3 with JayJay Okocha netting a hat trick.
