MTV 2013 Movie Awards Winners List
The 22nd Annual MTV Movie Awards took place in Hollywood last night.
The MTV mOBICEFor more than two decades, the ceremony presents quirky awards including Best Kiss and Best WTF moment.

Champions: 5 Super Eagles’ Players Make CAF Best XI List
Following their brilliant display at the just concluded African Cup of Nations in South where the Super Eagles of Nigeria lifted the coveted trophy for the first time since 1994, goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, defender Efe Ambrose, midfielder Mikel Obi and forwards Victor Moses and Emmanuel Emenike, have been named in CAF’s XI for the tournament. Emenike, who didn’t play in the final match due to a hamstring injury, clinched the award of the tournament’s highest goal scorer with four goals.

AFCON list: Don’t expect miracles from Eagles – Taribo
Former Super Eagles players have expressed different opinions on the national team’s 23-man list released by coach Stephen Keshi on Wednesday for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to begin on January 19. Nigeria-Ghana 2000 Eagles defender, Taribo West, believes Keshi picked the best players at his disposal but has his reservation on the inclusion of Italy-based midfielder, Obiora Nwankwo.

The 2012 edition of the Nigerian Music Video Awards (NMVA) held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 inside the exhibition hall of the Eko Hotel and Suites Lagos with Tiwa Savage and Basketmouth as hosts.Up for grabs on the night were a total of 19 awards with each category having five nominees each with ‘Bebedi Alhaja’ by Sexy Steel emerging the biggest winner – the song scooped Video Of The Year, Best Director (Patrick Elis) & Best Indigenous Concept awards respectively.

Mercy Johnson Tops 2012 Most Searched Nollywood Celebrity List For 2nd Year Running
Voluptuous actress, Mercy Johnson, we can authoritatively tell you, has emerged the most searched Nollywood celebrity and this is according to search engine giants, Google. The 2012 list was recently made available by the world’s foremost search engine, Google and for the consecutive year, the heavily pregnant actress dominated the list ahead of seeming ‘popular’ celebrities in the country.
Last year, Mercy Johnson notoriously sat atop that list following the controversy that surrounded her wedding to Prince Odi Okojie.

Another year, another crop of musicians making bank. Forbes has released its list of highest-paid musicians, led this year not by a popstar or rock band, but a doctor. Despite sounding angry in every song, rapper and beatmaker Dr. Dre earned a cool $110 million between May 2011 and May 2012. Most of that had nothing to do with the production of music, though: Dre earned the vast majority of that from his über-trendy headphone line, Beats by Dre.
