I have no interest in ManUtd return –Ferguson

WASHINGTON, October 2, 2013 (AFP) – Alex Ferguson says he has no interest in returning to Manchester United and that he has full confidence in David Moyes as manager of the reigning English Premier League champions. Ferguson, in a US interview aired Monday night on PBS, said he was content to stay retired and not fretting over the current two wins, three losses and one draw of the club he guided from 1986 until retiring earlier this year. ferguson-alex“I’m not interested in managing again or getting myself worked up about Manchester United’s results,” Ferguson said. “United are in good hands with David Moyes.

Mourinho Gives Greenlight: Omeruo To Return To Chelsea

Super Eagles’ defender, Kenneth Omeruo, has moved closer to rejoining Chelsea, with latest reports claiming new manager Jose Mourinho, has approved the player’s return from a loan spell at Dutch Eredivise club ADO Den Haag.
According to a representative of Omeruo, the player’s return to the London club is almost complete, although the final details will be sorted after his campaign at the FIFA Confederation Cup holding in Brazil from June 17 to 30.
The fast-rising defender is currently in the Eagles’ camp in Windhoek preparing for a crucial World Cup 2014 qualifier with Namibia on Wednesday.  “It is now 95 per cent certain that Kenneth will team up with Chelsea for the coming season,” the player’s representative said yesterday. “Mourinho has said he wants to work with Kenneth after watching him at the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa where he held his own against top players like Didier Drogba of Cote d’Ivoire.

Group C: Nigeria, Zambia and the Return of Ethiopia


The group C of the 2013 Africa Nations Cup has Zambia, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Ethiopia. Nigeria and Zambia are familiar foes but 1962 champions Ethiopia said winning the title in South Africa is their dream

Next year’s Africa Nations Cup will be Nigeria’s 17th appearance at the tournament proper after they sensationally failed to qualify for the 2012 edition in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea last year. They have won the tournament twice, on home soil in 1980 and then in Tunisia in 1994.
