Mixed reactions have continued to trail the Super Eagles of Nigeria early ouster from the ongoing FIFA Confederations Cup in Brasil.
While some described Eagles performance as satisfactory, others say the team is technically bereft and called for injection of foreign coach to restore the lost glory of the national team.
While some described Eagles performance as satisfactory, others say the team is technically bereft and called for injection of foreign coach to restore the lost glory of the national team.
According to a former NFA chairman, Mr Kojo Williams, “I just think that we were technically bereft. I said it before that we needed sound technical guys to come in and work with our team, because if we left the job to the present coaches, then we would get more hammering in the future and that was what happened in Brazil.

'Trailer: ‘The New Black’ Shows Battle Between Gay Marriage, Black Church
This year's Audience Award for Best Feature went to THE NEW BLACK directed by Yoruba Richen. The film examines how African-American voters have become bitterly divided on the issue of gay marriage because of homophobia rampant in one of the pillars of the African-American community - the church. Focusing on the fight for marriage equality in Maryland, it argues that this hot-button issue is a matter of civil rights.

Italy Will Not Quit The Confederations Cup As Prandelli Clarifies Balotelli “Joke.”
Cesare Prandelli has said Italy will not quit the Confederations Cup due to the huge protests that have swept the country.
An estimated 1.25 million people took to the streets in scores of cities on Thursday evening to call for better public services and to criticise the cost of organising the Confederations Cup and next year’s World Cup.
Many of the protest marches, which began last week, have culminated in violent clashes between demonstrators and riot police, but Prandelli said the Italy squad had no plans to leave the country.
“Our officials have absolutely not proposed going home,” he said during a press conference in Salvador, the day before Italy’s final Group A game against hosts Brazil.

#BBATheChase: Get over the s-éx & nud-íty already
A couple of days ago the shocking results of a study regarding gay pó-rn were released. Well, to the general population of the world, the fact that people Nigeria and Pakistan watch gay pó-rn probably wouldn’t be something capable of sending them into cardiac arrest; to people in Nigeria, however, that’s only one of the reactions it inspires.
One of these would probably be shame, from those who are so quick to denounce homos-éxuality or pó-rn (or generally anything they’d rather believe didn’t exist) as “foreign” or “not part of our culture” or any other delusiónal term one might use to justify their lack of touch with reality.

Meet Chi-Chi The New Hottest Girl In The Industry - Compares To Tonto Dikeh
Well, well, well some mothers do have them. Nigezie (who have a thing for video vixens) interviewed a 'popular' video vixen by the name of Chi Chi. If you watch Ketchup's 'Show Me Yuh Rozay' video you will see her doing what she knows how to do best. The interview or feature is awkward to say the least. It wasn't her interview at first, she bum rushed a poor guy's 15 minutes of fame. She was obviously high and all. During the clip she reels off all her aliases and later revealed that she loves s-ex and she can the dog-gy position (you don't say). The bizarre clip ends with her saying she is finer than Tonto Dikeh. Make person come carry this pikin. She haff loss for Lagos.

FIFA Cancels Nigeria’s Victory Party
A dinner party planned for the victorious Super Eagles on Monday night after the 6-1 defeat of Tahiti in their FIFA Confederation Cup match was cancelled at the instance of FIFA.
A PANA report late Tuesday said that the team was billed to have the dinner at Restaurant Atelier in Savassi centre in Belo Horizonte but FIFA officials, citing security reasons, prevented the Nigerian players from leaving their hotel at Belvedere. The FIFA security officials based their decision on the street protests in Belo Horizonte and some other parts of Brazil.
One of the organisers of the dinner, Olusegun Akinruli, lamented the turn of events.
He said, “It is sad, but we have to understand the concerns of FIFA. We would have loved to celebrate the victory with guests of Nigerian roots.”
Shock as Super Eagles’ protest of blackmail
An individual or collective protest is a legitimate enterprise in every free society; but protest has its own place and style. It could be exercised discreetly or irresponsibly. An example of protest for a banal, irresponsible end was afforded last Thursday when the players and some officials of the Super Eagles, refused to leave their hotel in Windhoek, Namibia for a scheduled flight to Johannesburg.
The protest was all about the socalled “callous reduction” of their draw match bonus from $5000 to $2500 after the game with Namibia a day earlier. By that act, the team missed their connection flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil where the 2013 FIFA Confederation Cup was scheduled to begin.
In forcing the administrators to “give unto Eagles what belongs to Eagles” the players announced they would boycott participation in the Confederation Cup, which devolves on them as African champions.
Balotelli's Beautiful Fiance Comes To Support During Match [SEE PHOTOS]
Mario Balotelli kept up his fine form in the Confederations Cup in Brazil, and it seemed he was seeking to impress yet again with girlfriend Fanny Neguesha in the crowd cheering him on.
The model showed her support for the 22-year-old by donning an Italy strip in his side's 4-3 win over Japan, ditching her own Belgian roots for the maverick striker.
Mikel Obi set to leave Chelsea for Galatasaray

Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi is placed to proceed to Galatasaray from Chelsea. Mikel told Sabah, a daily Turkish newspaper that the Turkey football club made a present that he's extremely pleased with and is looking towards life in Istanbul.
'I asked Drogba for advice and he explained that Istanbul is just a fantastic city, that Galatasaray is just a huge club and that I have to make the move. I have played at Chelsea for quite a while and it's now time for me to leave.
'I'm still only 26 and it's great to get a present from a team (Galatasaray) playing Champions League football and successful in the competition.'
Talks reach an enhanced level between Chelsea and Galatasaray. Chelsea won't make the move difficult and regarding my salary there won't be described as a problem. All that's left is for the clubs to reach an agreement.'Mikel leaving Chelsea for Galatasaray is not a good idea, can it be?
