I will sell Mikel, Torres or Cech – Mourinho

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho has declared that Nigerian midfielder, John Obi Mikel, could be on his way out of the club.
Mikel has been consistently linked with a move away from Chelsea but it seems the arrival of Ivorian marksman, Didier Drogba, has finally sounded the death knell on the time of the Nigerian at the club.
The return of Drogba means Chelsea’s anticipated first-team squad has one too many foreign players under Premier League and Champions League rules relating to the home-grown quota.

Mikel Obi set to leave Chelsea for Galatasaray

Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi is placed to proceed to Galatasaray from Chelsea. Mikel told Sabah, a daily Turkish newspaper that the Turkey football club made a present that he's extremely pleased with and is looking towards life in Istanbul.
'I asked Drogba for advice and he explained that Istanbul is just a fantastic city, that Galatasaray is just a huge club and that I have to make the move. I have played at Chelsea for quite a while and it's now time for me to leave.
'I'm still only 26 and it's great to get a present from a team (Galatasaray) playing Champions League football and successful in the competition.'
Talks reach an enhanced level between Chelsea and Galatasaray. Chelsea won't make the move difficult and regarding my salary there won't be described as a problem. All that's left is for the clubs to reach an agreement.'
Mikel leaving Chelsea for Galatasaray is not a good idea, can it be?

Now, I want Confederations Cup –Mikel

Mikel Obi tells MTNFootball.com  his next target is to make another history by winning the 2013 FIFA Confederations Cup.
Did you believe from the onset Nigeria would be champions again?
Yes. We had it at the back of our mind to win right from the training camp in Portugal. We were driven to write our names in gold, make Nigerians happy and with hard work, God made it possible for us.
After the first two games, where the Eagles drew with Burkina Faso and Zambia, millions of Nigerians lost hope in the team. Was that the same feeling in the team?
There was no point in the competition that I, for one, felt we won’t win it. I told you before we went for the tournament that there are no small teams in football again. I knew it won’t be an easy task for us, so we prepared for it and kept believing in ourselves even when things looked difficult.
