Kpomo sellers arrested in Sapele for using embalming fluid to fatten kpomo.

Na wa oh!!!!! This post is especially for those of you who like buying big kpomo from the market. Health officers in Sapele, Delta State, caught kpomo sellers in Sapele market who confessed to using embalming fluid to fatten kpomo. According to them, they inject the kpomo with the embalming fluid, after which they soak the kpomo in water for a period of time. This process fatten the kpomo and makes it look delicious. They are currently in police custody in Sapele. May God save us all oh…..na only God know wetin dem never give person chop

Saidi Balogun & Ufuoma Ejenobor Turn Movie Couple (Pictures)

 Nigerian movie producer Saheed Balogun and actress Ufuoma Ejenobor are set to become the most recent movie couple in Nollywood. The 2 were recently spotted on the pair of an impending movie. Ufuoma and Saheed have already been paired to do something alongside each other in a just concluded movie. According to Nollywood insiders, the two have already been working together for days gone by four weeks to help make the movie a success. Will give you update when it becomes available.

Congrats: Obianuju Udeh, Dj Switch Wins (₦24 million) Glo X Factor

Obianuju Catherine Udeh aka Dj Switch is the winner of the first edition of Glo X Factor.

She was crowned the winner after the finale which held yesterday. Catherine won the $150,000 prize money (₦24m), an SUV and a recording contract with SONY music.

Wizkid,Fuse ODG, P-Square, Mafikizolo, nominated for MTV EMA

Nigerian superstars Wizkid and P-Square have been nominated for the Best African Act category alongside African acts, Mafikizolo, LCNVL and Fuse ODG at the “2013 MTV EMA. MTV made the announcement today. Big congrats to them! Rooting for my boy, Fuse. Can't get over his music.  Breakthrough artists Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead the EMA nominations with five nods each, while Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke are each up for four awards.  The “2013 MTV EMA” will be broadcast live on MTV (DStv Channel 130) on Sunday 10 November at 22:00 CAT from the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam (official red carpet show starts at 21:00 CAT).

International recording artiste, Bez climbs to the top of the authoritative music video countdown show – Soundcity’s Top 10 Nigeria.

This week on the long-running chart show hosted by Adams (@Adams_VJ) and Pearl (@PearlCardy), there was a major overhaul with only the ‘Voom va’ video from Skuki is on the top five, ‘Voom va’ moved from the number 5 position last week to number 3 on this week countdown. Cynthia Morgan makes an entry at Number 10. Tekno’s collaboration with Davido was among the new entries with the Moe Musa-directed video at number 9 position, Wizkid and L.A.X – ‘caro’ collaboration at number eight and A-Q’s Bang at the number 7 position.

Real Madrid star Ronaldo Renews Contract

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has renewed his contract with the club, which had been due to expire in 2015, the Spanish giants confirmed on Sunday.

The Portuguese international will attend a ceremony at 1:45 pm (1145 GMT) with Real president Florentino Perez at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabeu stadium to mark the renewal of his deal, the club said on its website.

The 28-year-old’s record since joining Madrid from Manchester United for a then world record 94 million euros back in 2009 has been phenomenal with the Portuguese scoring 203 times in 203 appearances.
