Nigeria Vs Tunisia: Nigeria Beat Tunisia to Reach U-17 Final

The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria beat Tunisia 4-2 in an entertaining semi-final played in Marrakech on Wednesday . Nigeria will now play Cote d'Ivoire in the final on Saturday while hosts Morocco and Tunisia play for third and fourth place .
The Golden Eaglets stormed out of the blocks as Success Isaac found Kelechi Iheanacho with a square ball barely seconds in and only good reflexies from goalkeeper Ben Chrifia prevented an early goal. But hardly a minute later Iheanacho returned to score from a through ball. Nigerian play was proving to be too much for overwhelmed Tunisia who looked shell-shocked and struggling to live with the Nigerians

Hot Lewandowski hits four as Dortmund rout Real

DORTMUND, Germany (AFP) – Poland striker Robert Lewandowski netted all four goals as Borussia Dortmund claimed a 4-1 win over Real Madrid in Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final, first-leg to boost the chances of an all-German final at Wembley on May 25.
After Bayern Munich routed Barcelona 4-0 on Tuesday night in the first semi-final, Dortmund followed the Bundesliga champions’s example 24 hours later by flooring Jose Mourinho’s Real.
Just as Lionel Messi had failed to shine for a subdued Barcelona at Bayern on his return from a hamstring injury, so Real star Cristiano Ronaldo was fairly anonymous after scoring at Dortmund as Real produced a below-par display.

“Anichebe Has Refused To Talk To Me” – Keshi Reveals Why He Did Not Invite Everton Striker

Super Eagles manager Stephen Keshi, has revealed that Victor Anichebe, has refused to speak with him.
The Everton striker was not listed in the 30-man squad, which will play Nigeria’s summer games, but it is down to Anichebe’s refusal to communicate with officials.
“I made several efforts to discuss with Anichebe but all to no avail and he has even refused to respond to messages left for him on his phone,” Keshi told Complete Sports.
“He has refused to pick my calls or even call me. He has also not responded to messages and calls from the Team Secretary, Dayo Enebi.”
The 25-year old has been in great form for the Toffees and Keshi is eager for him to play for Nigeria, but says that is Anichebe’s decision to make.
He said: “Anichebe is a good player who would add value to the Super Eagles attack. I need him in the team but I cannot force him to play for his country.
“He has to show the zeal to play for Nigeria before we call him to join the Eagles.”

Ryan Giggs believes Jones will be ‘outstanding’ for years to come. For the veteran, Jones’ Monday’s accomplished display is a sign of greater expectations.

Wolves give Rangers deadline on Agbim

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit, Warri Wolves, are ready to sell Super Eagles goalkeeper, Chigozie Agbim to rivals, Enugu Rangers for N8 million (around $52,000).
But Rangers have been haggling with Wolves to pay half the asking fee for the Nigerian national team goalkeeper.
Warri Wolves are ready to farm out Agbim to Rangers and have included a deadline of April 26 for them to pay up the transfer fee of N8 million.
Supersport.com learnt that Rangers are desperate to land Agbim ahead of their Caf Champions League game against Angola's CRD Libolo on Sunday.
The Flying Antelopes have just one goalkeeper, Godwin Anyalogu available for selection ahead of the tie after failing to register Itodo Akor who joined them this term from El-Kanemi Warriors.
Agbim is understood to be the other available goalkeeper registered for the Champions League apart from Anyalogu.

Golden Eaglets run over nine-man Congo

Nigeria's Golden Eaglets ran over nine-man Congo 7-0 at the ongoing African Under-17 Championship inside the Stade de Marrakech in Morocco on Saturday.
Inside the first hour, Nigeria wrapped up the game scoring six - averaging a goal every 10 minutes.
The striking pair of Isaac Success and Kelechi Iheanacho proved a handful for the Congolese with the latter helping himself with a hat-trick.
Iheanacho put Nigeria one goal up on four minutes after smashing home from close range via Musa Yahaya's assist.

The tournament's leading scorer, Success, came close to making it two but the Congo keeper, Mpea Darnet Ombandza blocked his effort.
Just before the half hour mark, Success finished off Bernard Bulbwa's chip to give Nigeria's Golden Eaglets a two-goal lead.

A late Cote d’ Ivoire goal sinks Flying Eagles Of Nigeria

The encounter played in Marrakech was heading for a goalless draw just about due deserves for both sides, when Dogbole Niangbo profited from a defensive mistake to score in the 90thminute. The events that led to the goal saw a Nigeria defender fail to stay on his feet while chasing a clearance and as he fell the Ivorian player quickly sent a long ball into the box which the keeper Adeyinka Adewale did not deal with and as the Nigerians tried to stop Kouassi Begbin scoring he squared for Niangbo to slot home

"Room 027 is not soft p-orn. I have no interest in nudity' actor Collins Onwochei

You guys have seen screen shots from a movie called Room 027 starring actors Collins Onwochei and Tony Umez. It looked like soft porn to us, with all the nudity, kissing, breast grabbing, etc but Collins Onwochei has defended his role in the movie saying Room 027 is not soft porn. Oh yeah? You could have fooled me. See what he told Encomium magazine this week
"Room 027 has made a lot of headlines, especially on the social network. I say this with all sense of responsibility. I think Nigerians are hypocrites. They are the same people that will say you can tell the end of a movie just by seeing the beginning. Same people that watch all episodes of Spartacus in the comfort of their living room and nobody gives a hoot about it. I did not shoot or act in a soft porn movie. Room 027 is nothing close to a soft porn movie. I have no interest in nudity. I just did my job as an actor. Nigerians have not seen the movie, they don't know whether the girl was naked or if anyone was naked and they are making a whole lot of noise about it"

Player transfer: Nani and Wayne Rooney to leave Man U for PSG

The Mill has changed, man. It was not all that long ago that a trawl through the day’s tabloid tittle-tattle might bring news of a new transfer target for Burton Albion or who Gillingham could be looking at bringing in. Wondering about Morecambe’s summer spending plans? This was the place to be. Well, sometimes. OK, once. But not now. These days it’s all about the big boys. Indeed it’s all about the biggest boys.

And today’s red-top rumours are a case in point. If you’re not at the top of the football food-chain then you’re not getting a look in. PSG, for example are confident of sealing a £25m move for Wayne Rooney in the summer. And they also want Nani to take their Old Trafford spending up to £40m. Former PSG director Michel Moulin said: “I announce to you from trusted sources: Rooney to PSG is done. He will be there next season.”
