Wolves give Rangers deadline on Agbim

Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit, Warri Wolves, are ready to sell Super Eagles goalkeeper, Chigozie Agbim to rivals, Enugu Rangers for N8 million (around $52,000).
But Rangers have been haggling with Wolves to pay half the asking fee for the Nigerian national team goalkeeper.
Warri Wolves are ready to farm out Agbim to Rangers and have included a deadline of April 26 for them to pay up the transfer fee of N8 million.
Supersport.com learnt that Rangers are desperate to land Agbim ahead of their Caf Champions League game against Angola's CRD Libolo on Sunday.
The Flying Antelopes have just one goalkeeper, Godwin Anyalogu available for selection ahead of the tie after failing to register Itodo Akor who joined them this term from El-Kanemi Warriors.
Agbim is understood to be the other available goalkeeper registered for the Champions League apart from Anyalogu.

Golden Eaglets run over nine-man Congo

Nigeria's Golden Eaglets ran over nine-man Congo 7-0 at the ongoing African Under-17 Championship inside the Stade de Marrakech in Morocco on Saturday.
Inside the first hour, Nigeria wrapped up the game scoring six - averaging a goal every 10 minutes.
The striking pair of Isaac Success and Kelechi Iheanacho proved a handful for the Congolese with the latter helping himself with a hat-trick.
Iheanacho put Nigeria one goal up on four minutes after smashing home from close range via Musa Yahaya's assist.

The tournament's leading scorer, Success, came close to making it two but the Congo keeper, Mpea Darnet Ombandza blocked his effort.
Just before the half hour mark, Success finished off Bernard Bulbwa's chip to give Nigeria's Golden Eaglets a two-goal lead.

Nicki Minaj's cleavage-baring dress on American Idol

The American Idol judge wore this eye popping red dress from DSquared2 on the Idol show earlier this week. So many people felt the dress was inappropriate for TV. That figure on her though. Work of body magic? I should get myself one! :-)

A late Cote d’ Ivoire goal sinks Flying Eagles Of Nigeria

Cote d’ Ivoire left it late to snatch a goal that gave them victory (1-0) over Nigeria and leap-frog their opponents on the standings in Group B of the CAF U-17 Championship. The encounter played in Marrakech was heading for a goalless draw just about due deserves for both sides, when Dogbole Niangbo profited from a defensive mistake to score in the 90thminute. The events that led to the goal saw a Nigeria defender fail to stay on his feet while chasing a clearance and as he fell the Ivorian player quickly sent a long ball into the box which the keeper Adeyinka Adewale did not deal with and as the Nigerians tried to stop Kouassi Begbin scoring he squared for Niangbo to slot home

"Room 027 is not soft p-orn. I have no interest in nudity' actor Collins Onwochei

You guys have seen screen shots from a movie called Room 027 starring actors Collins Onwochei and Tony Umez. It looked like soft porn to us, with all the nudity, kissing, breast grabbing, etc but Collins Onwochei has defended his role in the movie saying Room 027 is not soft porn. Oh yeah? You could have fooled me. See what he told Encomium magazine this week
"Room 027 has made a lot of headlines, especially on the social network. I say this with all sense of responsibility. I think Nigerians are hypocrites. They are the same people that will say you can tell the end of a movie just by seeing the beginning. Same people that watch all episodes of Spartacus in the comfort of their living room and nobody gives a hoot about it. I did not shoot or act in a soft porn movie. Room 027 is nothing close to a soft porn movie. I have no interest in nudity. I just did my job as an actor. Nigerians have not seen the movie, they don't know whether the girl was naked or if anyone was naked and they are making a whole lot of noise about it"

Player transfer: Nani and Wayne Rooney to leave Man U for PSG

The Mill has changed, man. It was not all that long ago that a trawl through the day’s tabloid tittle-tattle might bring news of a new transfer target for Burton Albion or who Gillingham could be looking at bringing in. Wondering about Morecambe’s summer spending plans? This was the place to be. Well, sometimes. OK, once. But not now. These days it’s all about the big boys. Indeed it’s all about the biggest boys.

And today’s red-top rumours are a case in point. If you’re not at the top of the football food-chain then you’re not getting a look in. PSG, for example are confident of sealing a £25m move for Wayne Rooney in the summer. And they also want Nani to take their Old Trafford spending up to £40m. Former PSG director Michel Moulin said: “I announce to you from trusted sources: Rooney to PSG is done. He will be there next season.”

Nollywood Actors And The Lure For P-órn Movies

The Nigeria movie industry, Nollywood  is the world’s second largest, churning billions of naira in export. Even at that, it seems that roles a lot of notable faces play is not enticing enough thus the attraction to sóft p-órn. ANTHONY ADA ABRAHAM brings you some movies and actors who star in these films as well as reactions from Nollywood watchers.
It seems roles in the movie industry are no longer interesting and fulfilling as Nigeria actors and actresses are now displaying their talent in soft p-órn movies in Nigerian home videos which have attracted widespread condemnation from a large number of movie enthusiasts.

From Screen To The Pulpit

It is not common to hear about personalities in the entertainment industry embracing the call of God. SAMUEL ABULUDE writes on the actors and actresses in the entertainment industry who took a detour and embraced the call of God.
The allure of being an entertainer is tempting that most people won’t even venture to drop, not even for anything in the world. This is because the klieglights affords actors and musicians alike to be rich apart from show of attention and being talked about. But along the line, fate and perhaps ‘the will of God’ has combined to compel some of those who have experienced the razzmatazz of showbiz to stop being on screen temporarily or permanently altogether and serve in the God’s vineyard. By their decision, numerous fans of these entertainers have become astonished.

Sunday Mba Sad Over Nigeria’s Slide - FIFA Rankings

Super Eagles midfielder, Sunday Mba has voiced his displeasure at the latest monthly rankings released by world football governing body, FIFA.
Nigeria dropped one place in the classification for March as their 757 ranking points saw the African champions slip to 31st in the world and fourth in Africa behind the Ivory Coast, Ghana and Mali.
Nigeria were previously ranked 30th after racking up 775 points but slipped a solitary place after a less-than-fruitful month following a 1-1 draw against Kenya in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying game in Calabar.
Mba, who impressed for the Super Eagles at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, however does not believe the draw against the Kenyans is enough to see Nigeria drop in the rankings.
